She accepts the only job she can find, serving drinks in a local saloon, but it becomes clear this line of work isn’t for her. On her first night when another cowboy makes unwanted advances, Brock comes to her rescue. During the ensuing fight he shoots the man in self defense, but the local sheriff doesn’t see it that way.
When Brock escapes and runs to avoid the hangman’s noose, Carly insists on coming with him. On their journey they each learn something about themselves, each other, and what love really means.
